Raising a child with autism inevitably comes with challenges. Anthony is the father of three children on the spectrum. With Sal, his oldest son, Anthony must work hard for each small accomplishment. Each second of eye contact, moment of engaged play time, or gained opportunity for Sal (such as enrollment in a camp for children with disabilities) is earned. Although he receives little recognition for his efforts from Sal, each step forward is still rewarding.
